Elliott Ross, MA, LPCC

Navigating modern life is often fraught with stress, tragedy, and uncertainty; without healthy supports, moving through the day to day can easily

become overwhelming or unpleasant. Therapy offers a reflective, compassionate space to process life’s complexities, increase understanding, and create change in order to live a more meaningful and balanced life.

Elliott focuses on establishing a tone of collaboration, connection, and trust in the therapy room. He uses a humanistic, acceptance based approach combined with a systemic framework that examines the intersections of identity, culture, and politics and how they intertwine with overall wellness. Therapy sessions are centered around client goals and Elliott uses integrative, evidenced-based techniques paired with a trauma informed lens to assist clients in their personal growth and healing.

Elliott (he/him) came to the counseling profession after working extensively in schools. In teaching, he saw the importance of nonjudgmental spaces for teens to explore and process their thoughts, feelings, and experiences of the world around them. He also witnessed the detrimental effects of chronic stress and burnout on adolescents, adults, individuals and communities. As a result, Elliott is impassioned to help people and organizations build sustainable and fulfilling practices and specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, and those experiencing symptoms of burnout, depression, and/or anxiety. He also specializes in working with the LGBTQQIA+ community providing sex-positive, gender-affirming care.

Outside of his practice, Elliott is a parent and enjoys spending time with loved ones, biking, making music, cooking, and playing board games.
